don gave us great service throughout our entire stay. the rooms are big and well kept. comfortable beds provided restful nights.
cigarette smoke came through the air conditioning unit during one night. it made sleeping uncomfortable.

i found the staff friendly . chester and don really stood out, providing really good service. the location was perfect for exploring the old quarter. breakfast at skyline restaurant was a highlight, with a wide range of vietnamese and western dishes.
the pool area felt a bit dated, it needed some more seating and shade (a bit disappointing).

the hotel is right in the heart of the old quarter, near the lake. many attractions are within easy walking distance from the hotel. numerous restaurants, bars, and shops are located just steps from the entrance.

old pool area
I found some issues . It was not nice. the pool area looked old and dirty. It was not well-kept. the breakfast options seemed mostly westernized. I wanted more local choices.
